Overview
A Pro fixed-wing F405 flight controller intended for ArduPlane/INAV aircraft. It acts as the aircraft’s autopilot, sensor hub, and servo/ESC output controller.

Hardware revision
Current retail configuration: BMI270. Earlier ICM versions are discontinued; their documentation remains available for existing owners.
Setup notes
- For fixed-wing aircraft, start with ArduPlane or INAV rather than generic multirotor assumptions.
- Check the SERIAL mapping table before assigning telemetry, GPS, or receiver ports.
- For dual analog camera switching, connect the two camera video signals to C0 and C1, connect the analog VTX video input to VTX, and keep both cameras and the VTX on a shared ground.
- In ArduPilot, configure the switch as Relay2 with RELAY2_PIN=82 and RELAY2_FUNCTION=1, then assign an RC channel such as RC8_OPTION=34 to toggle the active camera input.
- F405-class flight controller.
- ArduPilot target branch: FlyingRC-Official/ardupilot add_FlyingRC_F4WSE_Pro_target.
- Dual analog camera switching is controlled by PB5, defined in the F4WSE Pro ArduPilot hwdef as PINIO2 / GPIO82.
- Use S12/LED notes from the manual when configuring LED strip behavior.
- Firmware support and wiring are documented in the manual.
- Use the BDShot ArduPlane firmware only for ESC setups that need bidirectional DShot; standard PWM/servo builds should use the normal ArduPlane firmware.
- Do not guess port numbers from silkscreen alone; use the firmware mapping table.
- Power cameras and analog VTX only within their rated voltage range; if the default camera is opposite to the expected input, invert Relay2 or swap the C0/C1 signal wires.
